Lyceum – Basically a secondary school with a sort of alternate history. In ye olden dayes, lyceums were female-only educational institutions. Now, Lyceums tend to have a science/math lean.
Oblast – province. Ukraine has 24 oblasts, each with an oblast center (typically the largest city in the oblast).
PC – Peace Corps
PCMO – Peace Corps Medical Officer
